Robert Brunner, designer of all things Fuego, launched his latest product today, Beats by Dr. Dre.  Beats are over the ear headphones which deliver unrivaled sound quality created through the professional music producers' experience. Beats by Dr. Dre are designed by Robert Brunner's design consultancy firm Ammunition Group in collaboration with acclaimed hip hop artist and producer Dr. Dre, Interscope Chair Jimmy Lovine, and audio manufacturer Monster Cable.  Beats are exclusively sold at Apple Stores and Best Buy starting July 25th, for a price of $349.95.  Check out the Fuego exclusive demo of Beats.

My job takes me around the world to build products. I travel to make contacts with manufacturers worldwide in order to locate the best fitting partners to produce our products. My focus currently is the Fuego Modular, which has landed me in Taichung, Taiwan, working with a high quality, and highly flexible niche producer of high-end grills and their stainless products. Since the first Modular concept and design, which was showcased last year, the product has now been approved for production and is currenlty in the full production design, engineering, testing, and certification phase. We are thrilled to be on target to begin mass production in September...

Last week I received my AT&T phone bill for $2700!!! $2000 from data transfer alone while I was on my trip in Asia in February. FYI, your iPhone is set to check mail every ten minutes or so, and each email download costs $50-$150.

I will definitely be calling AT&T to inquire and get to the bottom of this. When I signed up, I requested the best international rates. I'll keep you posted on the outcome; I have a feeling this is not the end if the story.
