Yesterday was Cyber Monday, which refers to the Monday immediately following Black Friday, officially kicking-off online holiday shopping season. The hope is that people are back at work on Monday morning purchasing items online that might not have been available in the packed stores over the weekend. Many retailers extend their sales promotions through the weekend to capture these Monday consumers. Black Friday, the day after the Thanksgiving holiday, is undeniably the busiest shopping day of the year, resulting in crowds and traffic jams from crazed shoppers.
