We just received the Nov/Dec 08 issue of Food Network magazine and while we were a little skeptical at first, considering there are a handful of foodie magazines out there, we must say that we are impressed and now VERY hungry.

The magazine focuses on personalities and tastes of more than 30 Food Network celebrity chefs - and, best of all, they have an issue this summer focused on GRILLING!

In honor of Thanksgiving just a few weeks away, we thought we'd share this Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe from the issue - straight from the Food Network kitchen

 

After a product development meeting where we discussed the possibility of a Fuego pizza oven, I decided I had to have pizza for dinner.  The power of suggestion!  Of course, San Francisco has a mecca of little pizzarias, especailay in North Beach a.k.a Little Italy, but I already had a place in mind that I was dying to try out.

John and I headed to Sacramento this weekend to visit some friends, and check out the California State Fair. Having never been to a state fair before, I was really looking forward to a good time of cotton candy and ferriswheel rides, what I got was much much more.
